Global warming is impacting our seas and the creatures that live in them. A large part of that story, according to scientists, has to do with human impact. Beneath the flowing organic waves is a grid pattern–the kind of order nature creates and humans attempt to emulate by boxing things in, believing our existence matters most, and destroying what occurs naturally. Here, vibrant sea creatures dominate, but in reality most of them are at risk. This painting is about the interaction, codependency, and fragility of that relationship.
